So happy to see that this motel still exists and is extremely clean from the outside. My late husband and I rented here for about 5 months back in Nov 1993 to March 1994. The couple who may still own it we're very kind and friendly. Our kitchenette apartment was small and sweet back in the day. I remember when my uncle and aunt were dating in the mid 60s and they said Mr. Christmas owned the motel. I know he has since passed years ago. This place really should be a landmark. I have so many memories of my late husband and I here. I was a young 19 and it was $22.50 a night or $525 a month. I even still have the little receipts from when we paid everyday to once a week. Good memories.
Everything appeared to be clean some people walking around outside seemed a little sketchy. If you stay there make sure to not have any valuables in your vehicle and also keep the doors locked
Rooms aren't the best, but your neighbors will not bother you and the staff is very flexible with payments and truly work with you when you're short on money.
Super friendly staff. Their hospitality is like no other in town. The rooms are a little outdated but not bad for the price and thwy beat any other motel down the block by a long shot.
Traveled here for my boyfriends job, stayed three months, rooms were super comfortable and kitchen was great!! Joe the landlord and staff are very helpful definitely recommend!!!
Coronado Motel is awesome very quiet and the staff is very friendly reasonable rates and the coolest thing is is this place was in National Lampoon's Vacation so now I can say I stayed somewhere that a movie was filmed if you're ever in Pueblo I need a place to stay overnight this is a cool place to stay
Got a room for a night, and ended up staying for a year and a half! The staff at the hotel are friendly, and most of the time the owner is on site. If you have any issues, the are taken care of quickly. Not in the best neighborhood, but they have cameras and they are good about keeping people off the property who shouldn't be here.
We're here for my husband's work, and this place has been wonderful! It's quiet and drama free for the most part. It's not overpriced for what you're getting. Maintenance is constantly working, keeping things clean, fixed, and as dirt free as possible. The owner genuinely cares that you're comfortable and enjoy your stay. I highly recommend this place if you're working and need a home away from home.
Coronado is the most down to earth and the employees there do a fantastic job at respecting your privacy . It's like living in my grandma's house in my old Cali neighborhood
